Kelsey Grammer will play an ex-mercenary in 'Expendables 3'
The latest round of nostalgic testosterone that is The Expendables 3 has added another familar face. Kelsey Grammer has agreed to play Bonaparte, an ex-mercenary helping the team. Because as anyone who has been drinking with Kelsey knows, he's a very dangerous man.
Grammer is taking a role originally pegged for Nicolas Cage, who ended up not joining the production, Deadline Hollywood says. Now he'll blow stuff up with Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Wesley Snipes. But not that greedy Bruce Willis.
Kelsey has a lot of projects coming his way since getting remarried, even after Starz canceled Boss. He'll be in a TV series with Martin Lawrence and is playing a villain in Transformers: Age of Extinction. So much for the erudite psychiatrist from Cheers.
