Lindsay Lohan ordered to go to therapy for the next 16 months
Looks like those rumors that Lindsay Lohan wanted to stay in sober living after her release from rehab were true, after all. Now a court has ordered she needs to stay in therapy on the outside in order to make it stick. Cross your fingers, everyone.
After LiLo made a break for it Tuesday afternoon (and here we thought she was leaving Wednesday), the Cliffside Malibu rehab facility's CEO Richard Taite sent a letter to Judge James Dabney saying the actress needed three hours of therapy a week, TMZ reports. "If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure," Taite wrote.
Dabney agreed in court on Wednesday morning, so now Linds has to go three times a week for the next 16 months, then check in this November to assure everyone she's going. We know how that's gone in the past, but beleaguered attorney Shawn Chapman Holley seemed optimistic. The girl made it through all 90 days, after all.
