Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth officially end their engagement
It seems we all can stop worrying about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, because the couple have officially ended their engagement. He must have finally watched her VMA performance.
Reps for both Hemsworth, 23, and Cyrus, 20, confirm to People things are over, which means it must be true. They've been engaged since May 2012, after meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2010. They postponed their wedding earlier this year, and now it looks like they will officially be canceling the ice sculptures entirely.
A source told E! the breakup was "Miley's decision, after coming to grips with Liam being what she believed was less than faithful to her." E! said Liam was busy moving out of Cyrus' L.A. home on Monday.
Miley has been busy being an ardent exhibitionist whilst pushing her new album Bangerz, and Hemsworth is out promoting the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire, in which he actually gets to do something this time around. Neither are likely to say much else regarding the split, so we can only wonder what happened to that 3.5-carat ring.
