Miranda Kerr is simply too busy to only be a Victoria's Secret Angel
Former Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr has been fired, but it's not because she'd being a diva, as has been reported. No, it's because she can't work just one job for three whole months. Don't worry, Miranda, we do it all the time.
“The problem was the time commitment. Victoria’s Secret usually asks the girls who are Angels to commit three months in a particular year to the brand," a source told the New York Post's Page Six. “But Miranda has become a big star — she recently signed a deal with airline Qantas and has just replaced Kate Moss as the face of Spanish fashion line Mango. While she loves Victoria’s Secret, the time commitment they needed from her as an Angel became too much for her to fulfill. Exactly the same thing happened with Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum."
It's nice of the source to conveniently give Kerr's resume in the very same quote. She will still walke the 2013 runway show for Victoria's Secret, so we don't see what the big deal is.
Of course, there's always the little problem of her 2-year-old son with actor Orlando Bloom, and wanting to see both the boys in her life and all that. Kerr's rep didn't comment on that, because of course, being too huge a modeling star to stay with Victoria's Secret is one thing, but wanting to spend time with your family would be career death.
