After not sharing much action in the first Thor movie, Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth lock lips a couple times in Thor: The Dark World, including one at the end of the credits. Except wait, that wasn't Natalie Portman he was kissing.

Portman told the New York Daily News she wasn't available for that particular scene, so Hemsworth's real-life wife Elsa Pataky filled in for her. Talk about Method acting.

“It was for reshoots (after the film was finished) and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn't get there because I was working on my own film,” Portman said. “And so they put his wife in my wig and costume, that's why it was so passionate.”

Did Natalie just cop to not being able to convincingly fake kiss someone? It's good she finally admitted it. She's an Oscar-winning actress, sure, but we all saw the Star Wars prequels.
