Natalie Portman joining Michael Fassbender in newest 'Macbeth'
We just found out yesterday Michael Fassbender would be playing Macbeth in a new movie version of the play, and suggested Amanda Bynes get the role of Lady Macbeth because she knows from crazy. Well, now we find out that Natalie Portman got the part. She knows from crazy, too.
ScreenDaily.com says Portman has been wanting that role for a long time, mostly so she can join forces with three witches to drive a kingdom into the ground under the oppressive dictatorship of a madman. Also, because the part is famous and everything.
It also may have had something to do with Fassbender and Portman recently finishing filming on Terrence Malick's untitled Texas music movie. That's certainly a combination of words we wouldn't have put together without a book of Mad Libs.
