Why does everyone look scared?

Never mind that Neil Patrick Harris scored the biggest Tony Awards ratings since 2009 in his fourth appearance as host. His apparent use of the dreaded N-word during his opening number while standing right next to Mike Tyson is the real talk of the town.

The U.K.'s Daily Mail kicked off the question by writing a story about Harris' singing, in which he seems to say, "And make things bigger, like bigger; I'm here with Iron Mike Tyson he's a heavyweight yo; We're going bigger, is I his n-----" Don't take their word for it: Watch the video below and listen for yourself.

Harris took on the paper by tweeting Monday, "Really, Daily Mail?!? The N-word? That’s your story?!? I would NEVER be so disrespectful and frankly, neither should you." Of course, no one is saying what the lyrics to the song are, so we're left to guess. His rep followed up with a statement to the paper saying, "Neil absolutely and unequivocally DID NOT use derogatory language in the opening number of the Tony Awards."

Well, Tyson didn't seem to notice, but Neil should be careful. Besides once being paid to pummel people for cash, Mike bit a man's ear off after spending three years in prison, you know.
