Of course the rumors about a potential *NSYNC reunion hit the sociosphere as soon as everyone heard the news they'd be at the VMAs with Justin Timberlake. But now that the show is over, will they be getting back together? No. And hell no.

Chris Kirkpatrick flat-out said no when asked about a tour on Johnny's House for Orlando's XL 106.7, according to Us Weekly. And there are at least five good reasons why. "It was funny because all of us getting back together, we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other," Kirkpatrick said. "It was just a bit of fun." The 41-year-old added he was "too old for this."

His bandmate Lance Bass, 34, told the AP a reunion "would be lovely to do, but we've got nothing planned." He didn't rule it out completely, though, and he's the one with his own radio show.

"Who knows what will happen when he's off tour. It's simply not part of the conversation right now," he said. "We just focused on that one performance. If we did anything like that, I think we would come up with something real special where we could actually call it 'The Reunion.'"

JC Chasez shoots that one down, though. "No ... it was just about five guys who were great friends who spent 10 or 15 years together touring and we wanted to give that back to our fans, but we were there mainly to support Justin," the 37-year-old told Ryan Seacrest. "Literally, two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed."

Meanwhile, the best Joey Fatone could manage to say to anyone was to tell TMZ he probably passed gas during the performance. Aaaaaand that pretty much ends this story.
