Rumors had been swirling that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr would perform together at the Grammys this weekend, but we’re here to break the news to you that it’s not true.

No worries. The pair will perform together during The Night That Changed America: A Grammys Salute to The Beatles on Monday, January 27, Ringo tells Access Hollywood.

Man. Changed America, huh? No humble brag for you two.

“To celebrate the 50 years since we landed in New York in February [1964], they are putting on a big show on Monday and we will be doing it there,” said Ringo, who was honored on Monday with the Lifetime of Peace & Love Award by the David Lynch Foundation in Los Angeles.

Rumor had it they were going to perform together at the Grammys, but really they’re each performing separately during the awards show. So we get to sit through that twice.
