Paul Rudd to play Ant-Man
Paul Rudd has scored the lead role in Marvel’s Ant-Man and is now in negotiations to play Hank Pym, Variety reports.

Marvel had been chasing Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but he’s in talks to direct, produce and star in Warner Bros’ Sandman, so co-frontrunner Rudd seems to have won this one by default.
But before you start going all “Ben Affleck as Batman, and now this?” on us, consider: The casting of ever-so-funny Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was frowned upon at first, too. And we all know how that turned out.
Edgar Wright is directing the film, which he co-wrote with Joe Cornish, and Disney plans to release Ant-Man in the summer of 2015.
