Paula Deen loses Sears and Kmart, complains about her plaintiff
Paula Deen has lost more business partners, thanks to that legal deposition that has ruined her life. This time it's Sears Holdings, which owns both Sears and Kmart. Well, it's not like anyone shops at either of those place anymore, anyway.
"After careful consideration of all available information, we have made the decision to phase out all products tied to (Deen's) brand," the company told TMZ in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the situation."
This move comes right after QVC clarified its earlier support by saying they have "decided to take a pause" in its dealings with Deen. The roster of partners jumping ship also includes Food Network, Target, a casino chain and Home Depot.
Meanwhile, Deen has filed a complaint against Lisa Jackson, the woman suing her for harassment, for falsifying her racial status. Jackson has claimed she's "Africa American adjacent," according to TMZ, saying she has a niece who is half black. Deen is no saying the niece is Hispanic and not black.
Deen wants the judge to sanction Jackson for filing a false racial harassment suit. That's sure to bring those sponsorship deals back!
