Photographer sues Kanye West after L.A. airport scuffle
Photographer-hating performer Kanye West may not have been charged with criminal behavior after tussling with a photog at LAX in July, but he's still got a civil suit coming. The shooter has sued him for a host of charges, and he's hired high-powered attorney Gloria Allred to help him.
Daniel Ramos announced Wednesday with Allred that he's suing Kanye for unspecified damages for assault, battery and interference with his civl rights, TMZ reports. The self-described filmmaker says he still has pain after spending two weeks on crutches after the attack. He also wants a restraining order against the rapper.
Allred specifically called out Kirstie Alley, Cher and Kylie Jenner for praising West's attack on Ramos, during which Kanye put the guy in a headlock and damaged his camera. The lawyer says it sets a precedent for celebrity-on-photographer violence, which the police somehow deemed acceptable.
