Update: Sinead O’Connor found, hospitalized after going missing in Chicago
UPDATE: Sinead O'Connor has been found safe at a hotel near Chicago's northern suburbs where she was reported missing early Sunday, sources tell WGN. The singer-songwriter has been taken to a local hospital.
Remember when Sinead O’Connor required hospitalization in November after going missing and ranting on Facebook about killing herself because her family abandoned her due to her increasingly alarming behavior?
Well, the troubled Irish singer has gone missing again and is possibly suicidal. That is not good.
O’Connor, 49, went for a bike ride in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette around 6 a.m. on Sunday and never came back, Us Weekly writes. When she hadn't returned by 9:30 p.m., someone reported her missing, and according to TMZ, police have classified her as “missing suicidal.”
"The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O'Connor," a press release from the desk of Wilmette Police Sgt. Michael Robinson said. "O'Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 AM and has not returned. A caller has expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available at this time."
O'Connor was last seen on a Raleigh motorized bike with a pink basket. She was wearing a black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with “Ireland” on the back.
Here’s hoping she’s just off meditating or reconnecting with nature or something.
