The new Q has a different trick up his sleeve this time around. Turns out the new James Bond gadget maker Ben Whishaw got married his partner a year ago. No laser-shooting wristwatch found that out for us!

The 32-year-old actor married Australian composer Mark Bradshaw in Sydney last August after meeting him during shooting for the 2009 film Bright Star, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reports. Whishaw rarely talked about his personal life, but we kinda wish he'd mentioned it before now, because everyone loves a wedding.

"Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work," the actor's rep told the paper. "Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy."

If they've made it a year without getting divorced or even making it into the news, we think they'll be fine. Well, until james Bond's exploits force Whishaw back into the MI6 lab, anyway.
