Sofia Vergara, Nick Loeb may be planning to have a baby via surrogate
We keep hearing Sofia Vergara and South Florida fiance Nick Loeb may or may not get married, but now there’s a whole new story. Apparently the couple are planning to have a baby via surrogate. Ironic, given the fact that Vergara, 40, just had a baby on Modern Family and has a 21-year-old son named Manolo in real life.
“The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby,” a source told the New York Post’s Page Six. “A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant, and if they will become parents.”
They must really love each other, if the engaged couple are planning to have a kid: “A baby is something they’ve both wanted for a while, particularly Nick, who has been pushing for it,” the source said. “He is a little uneasy that the surrogate is Sofia’s close friend, but is very excited about becoming a father.” Apparently being a hit on ABC can buy you a lot of perks.
