Summer Glau will be joining The CW's 'Arrow' next season
The CW's Arrow is about to get a whole lot geekier, now that the show has signed fanboy favorite Summer Glau to a recurring role on the show's second season. Stand back if you're not a nerd, because this is about to get deep.
The Firefly and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star will play Isabel Rochev, the vice president of acquisitions at Stellmoor International, which is trying to acquire Queen Consolidated, The Hollywood Reporter says. Isabel in the comics is a former slave who eventually ran the company, so you can see where this is going.
THR says Glau will be in the show's season premiere, which airs Oct. 9. If you can't wait that long, you can catch Arrow star Stephen Amell and Co. at San Diego Comic-Con on July 20. Summer is sure to be there in some way, shape or form no matter what.
