In new book, Tori Spelling calls Katie Holmes a 'plastic' person who 'can't sing for s---'
Former 90210 actress and professional gossip site staple Tori Spelling says in her new book that Katie Holmes is a fake person who, coincidentally, "can't sing for s---." Yeah, we know, that must really change your perception of Katie Holmes.
In Spelling It Like It Is, Tori talks about meeting Holmes years ago, when Katie was still on Dawson's Creek and Tori still had a job on 90210, RadarOnline relates. She says she didn't meet Katie again for several years until she heard "some actress singing horribly off-key" at vocal coach Eric Vetro's music room. It was Holmes, natch.
Holmes and Tom Cruise were still married, so Spelling tried to strike up a conversation about kids, since she had children about the same age as TomKat's daughter Suri. Katie's response was apparently a vapid "Oh, do you?" All bets were off.
“Then I was annoyed. Come on. Okay, I know your’e busy. But you’re in the public eye. Don’t tell me you don’t follow the tabloids. Don’t tell me you don’t know anything about other celebrities and their kids," Tori writes in the book.
“Then we stood there. She was just plastic. In a perfectly polite way. … My pits were drenched. I never sweat. It was that awkward. I thought, I know you’re not a robot because you can’t sing for s--- … I felt sad for her. Those paparazzi photos, the ones where she looks like she’s miserable but putting on a happy face? That’s what she looked like in person.”
According to Spelling, TomKat split up not long after. Boy, we can't wait to read how supportive Tori was then! Holmes just joined Twitter, so let's all send a tweet to @KatieHolmes212 right now and ask what she thinks!
