Universal picks Colin Treverrow to direct 'Jurassic Park 4'
Since Universal Pictures is deciding to violate yet another franchise and make Jurassic Park 4, the least they could do is pick a good director. That must be why they picked Colin Treverrow to helm the picture. Who? Exactly.
Deadline.com says the next picture is coming June 13, 2014, so Treverrow better hop to it. The site says his first movie, Safety Not Guaranteed, grossed about $4 million, which will likely be something on the order of the catering budget for JP4.
Universal apparently felt he was a good match because he grew up watching the trilogy and really likes dinosaurs. Well heck, The Juice* is certainly qualified for that — except for the whole knowing how to make movies part.
