Yada, yada, yada, 'Seinfeld' reunion
Get! Out! Jerry Seinfeld has confirmed that he and Larry David have been working on a Seinfeld reunion of sorts.
Jerry, Larry and Jason Alexander were spotted filming a super top secret, “one-and-done” project at the TV show’s famous diner, Tom’s Restaurant, in New York City on Jan. 13.
Playing 20 Questions with the hosts of WFAN’s Boomer and Carton in the Morning on Thursday, Jerry revealed it was not for an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, nor was it for a commercial. But he also said it’s “not not those things, either,” so that’s a little annoying.
Jerry first hinted that he was working with Larry during a Reddit AMA sesh on Jan. 6, Entertainment Weekly reports. “We wrote this script for this thing that you will eventually see but I can’t reveal what it is at this time,” he said. “All I can do is tell you that it’s big, huge, gigantic.”
He confessed on Boomer and Carton that Jason is indeed playing George Costanza and that other characters from the powerhouse ’90s sitcom are involved.
The project — which Jerry said is “short-ish form” but longer than 60 seconds — was filmed at other locations as well, but not Jerry’s apartment, which was likely dismantled after the final episode.
Keep your eyes peeled, Seinfeld fans, because this short-ish, top-secret whatever-it-is is coming out “very, very soon.” And again, it’s not a Super Bowl commercial, so we’re left maniacally wondering what in the heck it could be.
Lupus? Is it Lupus?!
