Amazon Kindle 3G coming to AT&T stores March 6



Amazon's Kindle, the best-selling product in Amazon's history and one of the most-popular eReaders available, will be available in AT&T stores beginning March 6, AT&T announced today. AT&T will offer customers the opportunity to test drive the device at it's company-owned stores using its connected devices displays.kindle_front-pre.jpg

The Kindle 3G connects over WiFi as well as AT&T's mobile broadband network to wirelessly downloads books, magazines, newspapers, blogs and personal documents. With a paper-like Pearl E Ink display, the new Kindle can store up to 3,500 books. Once purchased there are no monthly wireless fees or annual contracts for connection the AT&T's network. A WiFi-only model also is available from Amazon.

The Kindle Store now has more than 810,000 books that you can "Buy Once, Read Everywhere," using the Kindle itself or via free apps for the iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, Mac, PC, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Android-based devices.
