AOC has announced a new portable USB Monitor designed for the laptop user who needs more screen real estate without a bunch of cables. Featuring a built-in USB port that receives both power and signal via a single USB cable, the lightweight monitor is plug and play. With a widescreen, 16-inch LED display and a maximum resolution of 1366x768 @60Hz, it can instantly double the available screen space for most laptops and also can be used for presentations. The AOC USB Monitor will be available at major retail chains nationwide in October 2011 with an MSRP of $139 for the 16-inch model (e1649fwu).
