Select media members are receiving invitations from Apple today, asking them to attend an event on their Cupertino, CA campus on October 4 at 10 AM PST. The invitations simply say: "Let's talk iPhone."

In addition to the anticipated announcement of the iPhone 5 and possibly a less-expensive iPhone that has been dubbed the iPhone 4S, we can expect an announcement for the release of iOS 5 and the iCloud service.
