Apple press conference tomorrow rumored to be musical

Apple Computer has a scheduled press conference for tomorrow at 10 a.m. PDT and most of the speculation centers around product announcements that are musical in nature. A new version of Garage Band? Maybe one that runs on the iPad? Some new iPods? A new iPod Shuffle with touch screen seems likely since accessories for that device already have been spotted. There is also a possibilty we will see iOS 4 for the iPad.

Gizmodo reported earlier this week that Lady Gaga visited Apple headquarters recently, so it looks as if we may see something similar to when John Mayer helped introduce the first version of Garage Band.

Whatever it is, Apple has decided to stream it live but you have to be on a Mac, iPod, iPhone or iPad to see it. Lucky for me I have all of those things at my disposal so I'll be watching! If you can't watch the live stream don't worry, I'll post a summary here after it's over. Apple hasn't done a live stream on an announcement in awhile, not even for the iPhone 4, so either this announcement is a big one or they need to be able to show it off, streaming on all their devices for maximum coolness points.
