Apple quietly releases the Magic Trackpad
A few months back rumors circulated about a secret Apple trackpad device. Documents surfaced showing a trademark for "Magic Trackpad" and about a week ago the FCC approved a "Bluetooth Trackpad." Today, Apple quietly added the device in the Apple Store.

The Magic Trackpad basically brings the same trackpad experience you'll find on a MacBook Pro to Mac desktops. The battery-powered device connects wirelessly through Bluetooth and accepts all the same multi-touch gestures found on the MacBook. It can be used independently or in conjunction with a mouse. It's available now for $69 at the Apple Store.
Also available is the Apple Battery Charger that charges six AA batteries for the device. It's $29.
