Auto tech: Mopar's wireless charger, Acura's Sport Hybrid SH-AWD, more
Chrysler's Mopar division announced the arrival of the first wireless power mat installed in an automobile, which will be an option in the 2013 Dodge Dart. The charging mat -- 8.27 inches by 9.5 inches by 3.25 inches -- will fit in the center console tray and will charge MP3 players and smartphones equipped with proper charging cases. The charging mat (part number 82213216) is available for $199.99 plus installation costs. The Dodge Dart, on the other hand, will cost you $15,995 plus delivery fee for a base model.
