HandStand is a rotating case with a strap for your iPad, iPad 2 version shipping in May

If you use your iPad on the go and want to be able to hold it securely with one hand while using the touch screen with the other, check out the HandStand case. The case has an elastic strap on the back so you can slip your hand in for good support and control. The strap is attached to a rotating disk that allows you to spin the iPad from landscape to portrait mode quickly and smoothly, without handling the iPad itself and taking the chance that you'll accidentally launch an app. It doesn't just rotate freely, it has click-stops lightly lock it in place every 90 degrees as you spin it.

The HandStand also has an integrated iPad stand for times when you want to use it on a desk or counter top. Made from 100% recycled materials, the case holds your iPad in soft silicone to protect it from scratching.

The original HandStand case proved to be very popular with people in the medical field who use iPads to check patients' records. It also would be good for making presentations and for waiters and waitresses who use iPads to take your order (we have a pub in Tampa doing this).

The HandStand for the original iPad is still available in limited numbers for $49.99. The HandStand 2 (for the iPad 2) will be shipping the first week of May for $49.99, but if you pre-order you can get it for $39.99. Both are available in black and white. The HandStand 2 also is available in pink.

I haven't tried one of these yet but it looks great and in the right situations it should make using your iPad a lot easier.
