HTC announces Sensation 4G Android phone on T-Mobile, 1080p video
Today HTC announced the Sensation, a 4G Android phone on the T-Mobile Network. It's the first device to ship with the HTC Watch feature, allowing users access to a library of movies and TV shows. The Sensation is built for multimedia and entertainment, providing tools for both watching and producing the same, with an 8-megapixel camera, 1080p video and a qHD 4.3-inch, widescreen super LCD display. HTC refers to it is as a "multimedia superphone."
With a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz processor and an aluminum uni-body design, the Sensation is designed to be light and fast. It will ship with the latest version of HTC sense, the enhanced user interface add-on to the Android platform that adds many nice features and widgets. One new HTC Sense feature is a customizable lock screen which becomes a screen showing the most important information on your device, allowing you to receive real-time updates without unlocking.
The Sensation is scheduled to be available this summer at T-Mobile USA. Pricing has not yet been set.
