More about the Wii U controller:

There's also motion control, a front-facing camera, microphone, stereo speakers, rumble, stylus and Near Field Communication. The battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion.

Previous Wii controllers are also compatible.

A surprise announcement was for the Nintendo TVii, which will let you use the gamepad to find and watch shows, movies and sports programming from Wii U video entertainment (Amazon, Hulu and YouTube are all developing applications for this), TV channels or your TiVo DVR.
