More than 1300 singers in Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir, 3 days left to join

Eric Whitacre's latest Virtual Choir now has more than 1300 singers from 52 countries which is thought to be a world record. The original goal of 1,000 singers by Dec. 31 was reached but the deadline was extended to Jan. 10 because of weather conditions on the East Coast of the U.S. and in Europe. So if you want to be part of this cool project you have until midnight on Jan. 10 to upload your video to YouTube. All you need is one video of yourself singing one of the parts from Eric Whitacre's beautiful choral piece, "Sleep." Considering Jayson Wilson recorded all eight parts, 4 times each, to make the compiled video below, recording one part should be pretty easy for most.

In a previous post on Dec. 7, I described how I recorded my video for the Virtual Choir. If you have a computer and a webcam or even just a Smartphone that records video, you can be part of this amazing project.
