Pay phones make a comeback in wake of Sandy
Pay phones were quickly becoming obsolete with cellphones and smartphones becoming a more common way of communication. But with Hurricane Sandy, many in the Northeast are finding out that, without power, pay phones on land lines are the only way to call out.
