Raise your hands and play a Samsung game at the movietheater

Samsung is promoting its new Galaxy S III on the big screen. First there's an advertising clip promoting how the phone can make moviegoing more social by using the S Beam sharing technology. Moments later, the audience  can take part in a two-minute game that's based on the motion sensor technology.

This game, part of NCM Media Networks' FirstLook preshow, is shown before select movies -- I went to check out Ice Age: Continental Drift at Citrus Park. If you've been to Disney's Epcot and waited in line for the Soar ride, it's something similar. The Samsung game uses audience feedback to move the direction of a phone left or right. The goal is to touch as many phones flying toward you.

The 3-D game -- also in 2-D -- will run through the end of August. So get to the showing early enough to catch the preshow, raise your hands, and have fun.
