Phones for those with failing hearing, sight: Two phones are on the market that caters to those with failing sight and hearing: Jitterbug Plus and Clarity Pal. Jitterbug Plus is a flip phone with large typeface, and has simple controls and buttons. It has a basic camera, texting, contacts list and calendar, plus an operator you can call to place a call for you. Clarity Pal  is a candy bar-style phone with large type. It reads out the number of the caller and can amplify the phone by 25 decibels.  New York Times

What might be coming to iOS 6: Apple gave a glimpse of some iOS 6 features back in June, including the new Maps app, Passbook (storage for consumer loyalty cards, boarding passes, movie tickets, and gift cards),Facebook integration, online photo sharing and more. But more features appear to be coming, including Bluetooth file sharing and Wi-Fi to cellular data switching.  PC World
