Santa uses Google Voice and wants to call you

Not wanting to be left left behind in this grand age of technology, Santa Claus is now using Google Voice. If you go to his web site at and answer a few of his questions, he'll call you right back!

Just answer the questions by selecting options from the pull-down lists and when you're done you can choose to send the assembled voice message to any phone in the U.S., or to an email, Facebook post or tweet on Twitter. And Santa isn't just about Christmas. You can choose Hannukah, Kwanzaa or just wish someone a happy winter. Click here to listen to the voice message I created.

He even knew that I'm a great Dragon Slayer and that I like to polish my rims. That Santa is a smart one!

If you'd rather call Santa and leave him a message, you can call toll free at 855-34-SANTA (347-2682). Santa will greet you with a short plug for Google Voice and you can leave a message. This would be a good choice for the little ones who might want to put in a last-minute request as the big day approaches.

Yeah, it's a big, fat ad for Google Voice (which is a terrific, free service, by the way). Isn't everything on the Internet an ad for something? No matter. It's fun and if you use it to send personalized messages from Santa to the big and small kids in your life, they'll still enjoy it.
