Windows Phone 7 launches with 5 new U.S. handsets on two carriers
Microsoft held their Windows Phone 7 launch today announcing nine new WP7 handsets that will be available by the end of the year with five of those available on November 8 in the U.S. on AT&T and T-Mobile. Here's the phone lineup:

AT&T
• HTC Surround -
• Samsung Focus
• LG Quantum
T-Mobile
• HTC HD7
• Dell Venue Pro
I haven't put my hands on any of these phones or the WP7 OS yet but based one what I've seen it looks really cool and in many ways it's a big departure from the Android and iPhone experience. Some things seem more advanced and some things seem on par. With XBox Live integration and U-verse Mobile on the AT&T network these new phones and OS are sure to be popular with gamers and those who want a true mulitmedia experience on their phone.
