YouTube has teamed up with Hollywood producer Ridley Scott for a project called "Life In A Day," which intends to create a documentary film from video made by people around the world on July 24. Scott, known for his work on Alien, Blade Runner and most recently, The A-Team will produce the film and director Kevin Macdonald will direct and edit. The film will make its premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
