Thinking about getting a new iPhone 5c? Here are two places selling it for $45 with a 2-year contract
When Apple introduced the iPhone 5c, priced at $99 for the 16GB model and $199 for the 32GB, a lot of critics said they'd hoped it would be cheaper. Apparently, all they had to do was ask.
The Unofficial Apple Weblog points out today that Walmart and Radio Shack are selling the 5c for $99 to $45, provided you sign up for a two-year contract. If you've got an old phone with an expired contract you're willing to trade in or sell off, and you don't mind that two-year contract, that could amount to a free upgrade.
