Two big questions
Just some thoughts after the second intermission:
1.) The scoreboard says this game is tied at 2, but it's just hard to believe Tampa Bay is still in this game. They've been outshot 25-14 and most of the second period was played in the Lightning's defensive zone. Holmer made some big saves, and the Lightning survived several scares. But I guess it shows how dangerous the Lightning offense is. But it's hard to believe Tampa Bay can survive a third period like its second.
2) Jim Nantz is on the video board here pitching the Devils' new arena in Newark. Man, Newark looks like such a nice place on the computer-generated building plans. Who woulda thunk it? They're promising that there's not a bad seat in the house, that's if you make it there alive.
