Home opener: Oct. 11 vs. the Hurricanes

The league will announce the full schedule Thursday, but gave a snippet Wednesday when it announced home openers and the teams from the other conference against which home-and-homes will be played.

Tampa Bay opens at home Oct. 11 against the Hurricanes and will play home-and-home series against Western foes the Avalanche, Wild and Sharks. Won't Dan Boyle be happy?
