Kolzig surgery successful
Olie Kolzig had successful surgery with "no complications" Saturday in Washington D.C., to repair a torn distal biceps tendon in his left arm, the team announced. The operation was done by orthopedist Ben Shaffer, the Capitals team physician who treated Kolzig when he was with that team. The goaltender is expected to need three to four months to recover.
