Ramo, Downie recalled from Norfolk
The Lightning recalled goaltender Karri Ramo and right wing Steve Downie from AHL Norfolk. Downie was not a surprise. He has played well during his time in Tampa. But Ramo was a surprise as goalie Olie Kolzig's left arm suffered a "setback" during the All-Star break, according to coach Rick Tocchet, and has been placed on injured reserve.
The good news for Tampa Bay is defenseman Paul Ranger (upper body) is off injured reserve and expects to play Tuesday against the Canadiens.
