Gary Roberts clears waivers

MARCH 04, 2009

Unless the Lightning can work out a deal by the 3 p.m. trade deadline, Gary Roberts will not get a final shot at a second Stanley Cup title. The left wing, a 21-year veteran and perhaps a future Hall of Famer, cleared waivers at noon.
