Malone breaks hand
Ryan Malone became the latest casualty in the Lightning's season of horrors. The left wing left Tuesday's game with the Penguins in the second period with a broken right hand that will keep him out of the team's final two games.
Malone was hurt when blocking an Evgeni Malkin slap shot. Malone, who signed a seven-year, $31.5 million contract last summer, finished with 26 goals, 45 points, plus-4 and with 98 penalty minutes in 70 games. He entered the game with the league's best shooting percentage: 21.3.
He is the 10th Lightning player currently sidelined.
