Stamkos' 22nd goal is a team rookie record
It took Steven Stamkos 36 seconds to score Thursday against the Capitals. His 22nd goal is a team record for a rookie. He broke the previous mark of 21 set by Brad Richards in 2000-01. Marty St. Louis' assist gave him 80 points for the season, but it was wing Zenon Konopka that made the goal possible with a perfect feed while diving for the puck along the right wing in the Capitals zone.
