Just housekeeping: Agent considers Lightning buyout of Vinny Prospal official
There hasn't been any announcement from the Lightning or the league, but Vinny Prospal's agent, Ritch WInter, said Wednesday his client's buyout is official. That means Prospal will not have to clear waivers first. And that means he is an unrestricted free agent available to sign with any team. Prospal, 34, will receive $1.17 million from the Lightning for six years.
