Alternate programming: Sun Sports to televise classic Tampa Bay Lightning games during lockout

Sun Sports, which televises Tampa Bay Lightning games, has come up with alternate programming during the lockout with classic Lightning games to be shown every Thursday. On this week: Dave Andreychuk's record-setting power-play goal, Nov. 15, 2002, against the Sharks.

The programming will be discontinued when (if) the lockout ends. Here is the announcement from the team:

The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that Sun Sports will air Dave Andreychuk’s NHL record-setting game against the San Jose Sharks from November 15, 2002, on Thursday, October 25 at 8 p.m. Sun Sports will continue to air classic Lightning games on Thursday nights throughout the year.

The game televised this Thursday night will showcase Dave Andreychuk setting the record for power play goals in a 4-2 win against the Sharks. His record-setting 250th power play goal came midway through the first period on a feed from Brad Richards after Sharks’ forward Mark Smith was penalized for hooking. Andreychuk finished his career with 274 goals on the man-advantage, a mark that has yet to be surpassed.
