A Seffner Tampa Bay Lightning fan is organizing a protest Saturday at the Tampa Bay Times Forum against the pending lockout that threatens to at least delay the start of the 2012-13 season.

“Fans care,” said Jason Tregler, 39, a Lightning season ticket holder since 1996. “We want our voices heard. We don’t want to lose hockey again.”

The protest is from noon to 3 p.m.

Tregler, who said he regards commissioner Gary Bettman as the villain in the labor standoff between the players and the league that appears headed for a lockout on Sunday, hopes a couple hundred people show up.
