Left wing Ryan Malone hurt, out for the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning absorbed a blow in the first period Wednesday night against the Oilers, when left wing Ryan Malone was sidelined with a lower-body injury. He will not return. Malone was on a line with center Vinny Lecavalier and Marty St. Louis and started his linemates on a two-on-one that ended with St. Louis' sixth goal of the season 1:08 into the game. Malone is second on the team with 16 goals.
