Lightning kicks off its Chili's Summer Tour



The Tampa Bay Lightning will kick off the Chili’s Summer Tour, a fan event complete with a LIVE radio show, on Wednesday, June 16.  The Chili’s Summer Tour, through Sept. 1, will make one stop at a different Chili’s restaurant each week with various guests and Lightning personalities.

The Chili’s Summer Tour is the perfect chance for Lightning fans to get their hockey fix or a great place to bring the family during the summer months.  The first event kicks off tomorrow from the Chili’s located at 2903 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa (near Raymond James Stadium) as the puck drops on street hockey in the parking lot at 4 p.m. Street hockey is open to fans of all ages.

The event will get into full swing at 6 p.m. with enter-to-win contests, giveaways, ThunderBug and the Lightning Girls.  From 7-8 p.m. Lightning Hockey Night will hit the airwaves from Chili’s on 1250-AM and  Tomorrow’s special guests will be former Lightning captain and Stanley Cup Champion Dave Andreychuk as well as Hockey Hall-of-Famer and franchise founder Phil Esposito.

Fans in attendance will also have access to all the Chili’s daily specials.
