Lightning signs 2007 draft pick Johan Harju
The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Tuesday it had signed 2007 draft pick Johan Harju. The left wing had 4 goals and 18 points and was minus-10 in 55 games this season for Moscow Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League. He had 27 goals and 49 points in 55 games for Lulea of the Swedish elite league in 2008-09.
Harju, 23, was selected 167th overall in 2007. He will play for Sweden in this year's world championship in Germany. he had two goals and four points in nine games in last year's world championship.
