Lukas Krajicek clears waivers; Tampa Bay Lightning reassigns Blair Jones
Just some housekeeping.
Defenseman Lukas Krajicek cleared waivers, which means he can be sent to AHL Norfolk, though having a $1.475 million blue liner in the minors probably isn't something the team would rather do. More likely, Tampa Bay was testing the waters to see if there was any interest. If the Lightning determined there is some, they could send Krajicek to the minors and recall him so a team could pick him up for half his remaining salary.
With it looking as if injured forwards Ryan Malone and Steven Stamkos can play, center Blair Jones was reassigned back to Norfolk.
